Poetry in Pairs

A Program of Short Readings by New Australian Poets
Curated by Kate Fagan

This year ASAL is delighted to present Poetry in Pairs, a program of short readings by contemporary Australian poets. Grab a coffee or a sandwich and listen to 5 minutes of wordplay by some of Australia's most exiting new and emerging poets. Each poet will read just three poems, so you'll be able to sample a range of language artists while enjoying a cuppa. Conference participants are warmly invited and encouraged to attend the readings, which will happen during morning tea (Thu-Fri-Sat) and lunch (Fri-Sat) breaks in the morning tea rooms. Readings will be short and sweet. Anything could happen! Don't miss this chance to enjoy some live literature.
